Tom Evans moved to Jackson Hole in the fall of 1978. He started in the real estate brokerage business in 1986, working with BBC Real Estate, where he later became a partner. In 1996 Tom was recruited by Jackson Hole Realty where he also joined as a partner and shareholder. He served as a member of the Board of Directors and later chaired the Administration Department of the largest brokerage firm in the valley. In 2003 Sotheby’s International Realty purchased the assets and business of Jackson Hole Realty. He is an associate broker with Sotheby’s working out of a branch office in Teton Pines.
Tom was named one of the top 200 real estate professionals in November 2007 by the Wall Street Journal and his total sales volume ranked him 11th in the nation, placing him at the top of the field of the Jackson Hole real estate market. He was named “Realtor of the Year” in 2011 by the Teton County Board of Realtors and ranked “Top Sales Producer” for Jackson Hole Sotheby’s International Realty in 2011 and 2012. Tom was Jackson Hole Sotheby’s International Realty’s #1 Selling Real Estate Agent in 2013 & 2014.
Tom serves and has served on many nonprofits within the Jackson Hole Community. He is a former member of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Teton Area and serves on the Board of the Jackson Hole Land Trust. He is also a member of the Board of Governors for 3 Creek Ranch Resort and is head of the Ambassador Committee.
Tom enjoys developing property and participating in joint ventures with many of his clients and friends. He and his wife Andrea have two daughters and two grandchildren.
